What’s in Flower in August
Below is a list of plants in flower in my garden. What’s in flower in yours?
If we can share this information, it helps us all in expanding our range of plants we grow and helps others to select plants that are showy at various times of the year.
My Garden (subtropical Queensland) in August:
- Ruttya fruticosa – red and yellow forms
- Aloe – various species and hybrids
- Euphorbia Poysean hybrids
- Bulbine fragans
- Hovea species
- Murraya paniculatum
- Plectranthus – various species
- Grevillea baileyana
- Eucalyptus + Corymbia species (gum trees)
These are only a few in flower at this exact time. Over the coming weeks, I will add more once the flowers actually open up.
