Noel Burdette is a passionate plantsman
and works by day as a full time Horticulturist
in the retail nursery industry and
garden writer.
His love of plants
began at an early age when encouraged
to grow his own herbs and flowers
from the age of five in the family
backyard.
For many years Noel was a selector
and garden owner for Australia’s
Open garden scheme and was past president
for the Queensland Herb Society.
Having worked fifteen
years in retail horticulture Noel
has seen many trends in gardening
come and go over the years and with
subTropical Gardening magazine
has the opportunity to share his thoughts
and passions for gardening and plants
in the ever changing industry.
He carries a special
affection for softer style plants
and design techniques and coupled
with a keen eye for plant orchestration,
hopes to shed new light on the way
we all approach our gardens.
